Colombia-U.S. Workshop- Nanotechnology


Goals :


The goal of the workshop is to promote the relationship between industry, government and academy in the following areas:

(1) Scaling challenges of nanotechnology

(2) Relationship with national and international standardization agencies

(3) Strengthen capacities in characterization techniques

(4) Establish the need for implementing safe handling and nanomaterials' disposal policies


Date and Place :


The workshop will be held in Bogota, Colombia from February 14th to 15th at the School of Engineering, Mario Laserna Building, Universidad de Los Andes.

Deadline for posters submission: January 12, 2017

Deadline for registration: February 3, 2017

Abstract submission For the poster session: Participants are required to submit an abstract (in English or Spanish) of no more than 2 pages (including references) using the IEEE format together with the poster, to the event email address colombiausanano2017@uniandes.edu.co .
